Ty Tysinger has been with Waddell & Reed since July 2013. He became a Financial Advisor in June 2008. Since he was a small boy, he has been interested in saving his money for the future. As he got older he felt that being a Financial Advisor would be a good fit for him due to his passion for saving for the future and helping others.
In December of 2000 Ty graduated from the Darla Moore School of Business, at the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in Finance, Insurance and Risk Management.
The aspect he enjoys the most is sitting down with clients after several years of working together and examining what progress has been made toward their financial goals.
Ty focuses on the following:
- Assisting individuals who are retired or close to retiring
- Helping small business owners find retirement plans and insurance strategies designed to fit their needs
- Working with couples in their 30s + by showing ways to invest for the future based on their goals and objectives
Ty helps these individuals by taking them through a step by step process to help make sure their financial goals are clear. Once their goals are set, Ty works to find recommendations for them, based on their goals and risk assessment.
Outside the office Ty enjoys spending time with his 2 boys, Zack and Nathan. In his spare time he enjoys cheering for his alma mater and staying active with activities like running, biking, and camping.
