Kim has been in the financial industry since 2002. She began her financial career as a financial advisor for American Express Financial Advisors. She later moved to Ameriprise Financial Services, where she worked as a paraplanner for almost a decade. Wanting to focus on individuals, families and small business owners, Kim chose to move to Waddell & Reed. Kim likes to position herself as a financial resource to her clients so they can make educated decisions with their money. She focuses on on-going, one-on-one advice anchored in a comprehensive financial plan to help her clients pursue their financial goals.
Kim is dedicated to continuing her education. She received her MBA from George Washington University in 2012. In 2014, she acquired the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. Kim also focuses on educating her clients and the public by holding seminars centering on retirement planning, investment planning, tax strategies, social security, insurance planning and college planning.
